USO Provides Friendly Send off to Home for Trainees

USO was by the side of 4,200 trainees as they departed Fort Sill for the holiday block leave from training. Over the course of two days, USO staff and volunteers provided refreshments, smiles, and sometimes a hug as the trainees loaded the buses to the respective airports. As trainees rushed past the USO tables, volunteers could be heard saying “Enjoy your travels!”, “Happy Holidays!”, and “Have a great time”!
This is the largest movement of personnel Fort Sill hosts annually and USO was there for each minute.
