October 16, 2025. On a beautiful October day, the USO’s annual Fall Fest gave 800 service members and families two hours of seasonal festivities. Kids in costumes and their parents enjoyed truck-or-treat, outdoor games, indoor crafts, military displays, and touch-a-truck. Attendees enjoyed BBQ sliders compliments of Mission BBQ and chili and cornbread served by USO volunteers.
U.S. Army Captain Matthew Hall and his wife, Morgan Hall attended with their child. Morgan commented, “It’s just fun to watch the entire military community come out. Moms and Dads take a reprieve from work briefly and we get to see Dad on lunch time, which is always fun.” CPT Hall added to his wife’s comments, “For me, it’s a nice break from work but to also see the community come out and be in support of the military.”
U.S. Army Corporal Wilson came with his wife and toddler son. He shared, “We came for a new experience and get a break from military work”, with his wife adding, “we wanted our son to meet more kids his age and he was very excited to see the trucks, military working dogs and he was excited to color.”
