The Altus Air Force Base Tree Lighting Ceremony was a wonderful celebration that truly captured the spirit of the season. Attendance was outstanding, with Airmen and their families gathering to enjoy the festive atmosphere and kick off the holidays together. The towering tree, adorned with sparkling lights and ornaments, served as the centerpiece of the evening, creating a warm and cheerful backdrop for the event.

One of the highlights of the night was our hot chocolate bar, which was a big hit among attendees. We offered a variety of toppings—whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles, and more—making it a fun and delicious treat for everyone. Serving the Airmen and their families was an honor and a joy, and seeing their smiles as they customized their drinks added an extra layer of holiday cheer to the occasion.

The festive spirit was further amplified by a special visit from Santa Claus, who delighted children and adults alike. Our volunteers were incredible, as always, ensuring everything ran smoothly and lending their energy and enthusiasm to make the event memorable. Thanks to their efforts and the community’s participation, the evening was filled with holiday vibes, laughter, and a sense of togetherness that truly embodies the season.
