Local Church serves Lunch at USO in Honor of Veteran

The weekly lunch we serve at the USO Fort Sill Center is always a happy highlight of the week. We love seeing all the service members and their dependents enjoying the meal. It is also a wonderful opportunity for community supporters to sponsor and serve the military. February 11th’s sponsor, New Haven Church, chose to sponsor and serve for a very unique reason. They wanted to sponsor in memory of Linda Toy, one of their congregation members who recently passed away. Linda served in the U.S. Army as a Captain and later in life volunteered at the Fort Sill USO during the lunch program. What an honor that an activity at the USO was chosen to be a way New Haven could honor Linda. It was an amazing day.
