Thanksgiving Meal serves 700

An annual Thanksgiving lunch is a tradition for the USO at Fort Sill, taking place the day before Thanksgiving. This year, the Center welcomed 700 service members to enjoy a festive, warm meal. 60 USO Volunteers donned in turkey hats and USO aprons made the event possible which involved cooking many days in advance. The senior command of Fort Sill joined in the hospitality experience of the guests.
Fort Sill is home to the Marine School of Fires and brought 330 Marines to enjoy the meal. “This is a good opportunity to sit down and break bread with other Marines in the detachment,” said 2LT Hunter Kelley.
