USO staff serving refreshments to Soldiers and families at welcome home ceremony

Goodbyes can be hard, but the welcome home’s are very sweet! USO Oklahoma supported the redeployment of 2-18 Field Artillery Battalion on December 9th. The week leading up to the event we hosted a welcome home poster making night and supplied the barracks rooms with hygiene items. At the ceremony on Fort Sill, our banner welcomed the Soldiers home and refreshments were enjoyed by the Soldiers and families. A veteran approached our table and said “I was once in their boots, I appreciate you all being here.”
