USO Supports Exodus of 2,000 Troops
USO Holidays Travel Kits staged for disbursement
Volunteers serving basic training Soldiers as they depart
USO Oklahoma helped make the travels easier for over 2,000 trainees from Fort Sill. Over the course of three days, we passed our snacks and USO Holidays travel kits to Soldiers leaving for holiday block leave. The big push took place on Dec 16th and involved 1,700 Soldiers coming to the USO table set up in their staging area within the basic training footprint. We received many “thank you’s” and “happy holidays” from trainees under the watchful eyes of the Drill Sergeants!
