Basic Trainees Visit USO Fort Sill
The USO on Fort Sill is welcoming a new type of Soldier to the Center. Through an initiative with the 434 Basic Combat Training Brigade, trainees are allowed to visit the USO during their 10 week process of becoming Soldiers.
For many, this is the first time to visit a USO. Upon arrival, trainees are briefed on what the USO is, does, and means to them and their dependents as they serve our Nation. After the informational brief, trainees are allowed to relax and use the amenities.
A common sight is a trainee using our wifi to call home and connect. It will be weeks until they see their loved ones so having this extra time is appreciated.
