Storytime Brings Us Together
Our book of the month!
At storytime today we read How The Grinch Stole Christmas and had plenty of little friends show up! After enjoying a cookie and some water, they settled to listen to a classic. We then followed it up with a craft… Glow in the dark Grinch Slime! A lot of glue, some liquid starch, glow in the dark paint, some peppermint extract to make it smell better, and more than a little glitter (sometimes “three shakes” turns into seven!) Complete with Grinch hearts, that had one of our crafters repeating “oh my gosh!” Over and over as she discovered more and more of them in the slime. A slightly messy activity that all the kids were moooore than happy to help with… Of course some of the little ones didn’t quite make it that long :)
